A nutrition class for homeschoolers ages 7-16!  We will meet on the first Monday of each month (unless otherwise noted) and discuss the importance of nutrition and create fun snacks!

Composting is an easy, economic, and essential practice that everyone can do to convert organic waste from our yards and kitchens into nutrient-rich soil.  Join the Geauga Soil and Water Conservation District to learn composting basics and benefits, different composting methods, and how to avoid common composting problems. 

Participants will have the chance to win a FREE compost bin!

The Burton Public Library is having a book sale from 10am to 2pm. 

Dale Olson will be talking about bees and what happened in the past and what is happening to the bees now and in the future. He will go over past farm practices compared to today's practices. How bees are used for pollination throughout the country and the value bees give to crops they pollinate. He will conclude by briefly going over what it takes to become a bee keeper.
